Thursday Term Week 15: Color

Following Easter weekend, "Color" is the theme for our first week's Thursday Term.

New: Thursday's Term, starting April 12th!

One of the inspirations for this photo blog has been Wordless Wednesday (zerowordsphoto.wordpress.com).

Every Wednesday they posted a new word, completely open to the interpretation of whoever submits the photographs. This week, they announced that they will not be doing it anymore (or at least they are taking a break).

So, starting NEXT THURSDAY, April 12th, I will start a Thursday's Term tradition. It is similar to what I've been doing here so far, only without an explanation behind the words.

Page 7: Transportation

I realized today that another "universal" thing is transportation.  Getting from one place to the other is a requirement everywhere in the world, but how it is done varies.

Eating is one of those critical elements in life that varies greatly depending where in the world you are - making it a perfect theme!

Spring is arriving, and with this in mind, I think the theme "life" is appropriate!

Page 4: Beauty

Beauty is one of the most subjective things imaginable.  Because of that, the world truly is a beautiful place!  What is it that you find beauty in?

What makes something valuable?  Is it the price?  Or perhaps the emotional meaning?  Everyone has those things that are valuable to them - and I guess it changes depending on where someone finds themselves in life!

Something can have power, show power, or be powerful.  But don't forget - sometimes power is delicate, soft, and gentle.

Welcome to the new "Photo Thesaurus!"  Similar to a regular thesaurus, this site is aimed to be a collection of YOUR photos based on different words/themes as they come up.

Every week on Thursday, I'll create a new theme - by adding your photos, you can help build an online photo database that is completely defined by YOUR interpretations (add your photo additions any time for up to 1 year!)

Your posted photos are your interpretation of the theme (different perspectives of themes expressed with photos instead of words) will become part of a larger "thesaurus of photos" that will grow over time!
